The Plough is food-led and serves high-standard British pub food created using local and fresh ingredients. We consistently receive great reviews for excellent customer service and high-quality food.
We always need extra pairs of hands in the kitchen, or serving our delicious menus. Ask us about chef and sous-chef jobs, kitchen porters and other roles in this lovely Hampshire village.
Good wine, good beer & spirits
We offer a range of well-kept craft beers, wines, and local award-winning gins. Our house ale, Plough Ale, is brewed for us by Triple fff as their award-winning Alton Pride — crowned World’s Best Bitter at the 2025 World Beer Awards — making it a distinctive house ale unique to The Plough.
Our bar staff and front of house team are friendly and helpful, delivering a great experience for our guests.
